About Us

We are women, parents, consumers, voters and much, much more and we're fed up with the "business as usual" attitude of politicians & greedy corporations. It's time for us to speak up and be heard!

Toy makers take note: Now, here’s an online retailer committed to a child’s safety!

I was checking out toy stores online - clearly, I have children and NO life - and one of my new favorite finds has got to be eBeanstalk.com.

Here’s the thing.

Taking into account the recent rash of toy recalls - seriously, it’s making me itch!- I was interested to learn that eBeanstalk toys are tested and selected by a panel of parenting experts, aptly referred to as, “The Motherboard.”

Here’s the really good thing.

In a proactive measure, we have taken every Fisher Price toy off of our web-site until we have clarification from the manufacturer that the toys we carry (six toys in total) are safe. And to be clear, we have never carried Mattel.

Okay - so, maybe I managed to raise a few eyebrows - but, check this out:

Furthermore, we as retailers must be advocates for our customers and not
solely rely on the manufacturers.

First, we are working with all of our manufactures to ensure all safety steps have been made in the manufacturing process. If we are not satisfied, we remove the manufacturer from our site.

Second, we lead-test the toys ourselves.

And third, we are offering free lead testing of any toy from any retailer that is brought into our store.

Dude, that is so why you guys are on my list (no, the other one) and a pretty good reason to consider eBeanstalk, as a retailer committed to a child’s safety, first - sellers, beware!

I’m surprised by eBeanstalk’s comment about not carrying Mattel. Mattel is the parent company of Fisher Price so, yes, they have carried Mattel.

Yes, Mattel is the parent company for Fisher Price - eBeanstalk.com carries products from the Fisher Price brands found here, rather than the Mattel toys listed here.

Thank you for pointing that out.
